I just received the book, I was very excited, until I saw that it was the UK version. It's not clearly marked on the website, so I'm slightly disappointed.

The only marking on the book is a tiny Union Jack and even smaller text in the upper left hand corner of the cover and on the binding. Not sure if there is a difference or not in the approaches. The book did a poor job of explaining the literature review process. When you write something for struggling students it should be explicit and direct. i was just as confused with that book as with all the others.

It gave a very superficial explanation of the chapters. I didn't inform me of too much that I didn't already know. I was in the middle of my dissertation, receiving no info from my committee. I was stuck. However, this book provided the information needed clearly and concisely. Excellent product.

This book is a Great help and Others should buy it. Needs more in the data analysis section and the prospectus, as they are the foundation of a good, solid dissertation. See all reviews. Yes it contains some valuable insights and is well written and does writing a dissertation for dummies ebook to calm the nerves and gain a good focus on what's important, but I found it of extremely limited use for my specific discipline as unfortunately a large percentage of the book just doesn't apply.

Luckily others in my family are doing degrees in those subjects so it will come in handy for them, but if you are not studying in that area, there are better options out there. Poor show from the dummies range here.
